Ivories Shine Bright SLS is a private organization based in Sacramento, California, led by Director Tieko Ayewa. We are dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual disabilities through specialized programs and statewide services. Since our founding, our commitment has been to foster independence and enhance quality of life by offering individualized support that respects each person’s unique needs and aspirations.

Our cornerstone Independent Living and Supported Living programs offer personalized, goal-driven, housing and assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities. Individuals collaborate closely with our skilled instructors, forming partnerships that focus on identifying, setting, and achieving goals that are meaningful to them.

To ensure each individual succeeds, progress is thoughtfully monitored and evaluated every three months by a committed support team comprised of the individual, their instructor, and other essential members of their support network. These regular assessments not only gauge progress but also create opportunities to refine goals, celebrate accomplishments, and address emerging challenges.
